Rod Lingsch
for Congress
Experienced. Trusted. Ready.
[gspeech]

Hi, I’m Rod Lingsch, and I’m running to represent you in Texas’s 35th Congressional District because Texans deserve leadership that puts service over politics and results over rhetoric.  I am a Christian, Conservative, Constitutionalist, and I believe leadership is proven by service, responsibility, and results.  Like you, I believe government exists to protect our freedom, uphold the rule of law, and serve its citizens, not rule over them.

As your Representative, I will fight to restore common sense to Congress by defending our borders, protecting public safety, supporting working families, and demanding transparency from a federal government that has grown too large, too expensive, and too disconnected from everyday Texans.  I will always put Texas and CD 35 first!

Biden Blunders!  In 2023 and 2024, the Biden administration spent nearly $10 trillion on welfare, entitlements, and interest on the federal debt.  During those same two years, homelessness of American citizens increased 32% while millions of his illegal migrants were housed in 4 star hotels.

My Tax Reform eliminates income, property, and all other taxes while paying off the $38.6 trillion federal debt in under five years.  It also resolves the Medicare and Social Security insolvency problem.

My Welfare Reform saves $1.5 trillion a year and will lift the poor out of poverty for the first time in U.S. history.  Additionally, it solves the welfare trap and dependency problems.

In 2024, the U.S. spent $5.2 trillion on healthcare while all other countries in the world spent $5.1 trillion!?!   My Healthcare Reform will reduce medical costs from a projected $8 trillion in 2030 to less than $2 trillion.  Your employer pays your premiums, and you only pay the deductible capped at 1% of your annual pay.

My Education Reform utilizes proven techniques from around the world and integrates the most advanced technologies in education.  Every child in America receives the same funding and it follows them wherever they attend school.  Children’s healthcare is integrated into school funding at no cost to parents.  Most importantly, parents and school districts decide how children are educated, not the federal government.

It's The Economy...

Jobs, Wages, and Economic Stability

With $38.6 trillion in debt and $1 trillion added every 100 days, the federal government has no needed to fix America's problems, which directly impacts jobs, wages, and economic stability for families, workers, and businesses.
My CUT reform eliminates taxes and compliance burdens making it easier for businesses to hire, expand, and stay local. Small businesses and industries like agriculture and energy benefit from lower operating costs and predictable rules creating job growth, better wages, and more resilient local economies.
Strengthening Jobs

Our Welfare System Must Change

In 2023 and 2024, every tax dollar went to welfare, entitlements, and the interest on the federal debt. During those same years, homelessness increased 32% nationwide, showing that massive welfare spending is not solving America’s problems.
My reform eliminates layered taxes that drive up the cost of goods and services. All existing taxes are replaced with a flat 1% Currency Usage Tax (CUT), allowing families to keep 99% of every paycheck with no tax returns required.
Affordability Thru Tax Reform

Affordable Healthcare for Every American

Cost of Healthcare

According to the World Health Organization, the U.S. spent $4.2 trillion on healthcare in 2024, while all other countries combined spent $4.1 trillion. How is it possible that roughly 305 million Americans pay more for healthcare than the other 7.8 billion people in the world?
My healthcare reform is made up of seven distinct programs, allowing people to pay only for the healthcare they need. Businesses pay the premiums, and workers pay the copays. Everyone pays the same flat rate for each program. Most people will need only two programs, while some may require three or more.
Lower Costs Through Reform

Access to Care

Many Texans struggle to access timely medical care, especially in rural areas where travel distances delay treatment and worsen outcomes. Even in urban areas, provider shortages make it difficult to find appointments when they are needed most.
My solutions prioritize removing bureaucratic obstacles that limit where and how care can be delivered. Rural clinics and independent providers gain the flexibility to operate sustainably and expand services. This increases access to timely care in both rural communities and growing urban areas.
Expanding Access to Care

Education for the 21st Century

School Funding Accountability

Parents are concerned about how education funds are raised and spent. Property taxes continue to increase while educational outcomes decline. Many families question whether funding improves classroom results or simply expands administrative overhead.
My proposals ensure every child receives the same education funding allotment that follows them wherever they attend school. My CUT makes property taxes obsolete and eliminates administrative ambiguity. Parents gain clarity and confidence in how funds improve their child’s education.
Transparent Education Funding

Education Quality and Outcomes

Parents want assurances their children gain practical skills with a strong academic foundation. Many districts rely on inexperienced staff to fill gaps weakening classroom continuity. Families worry that students are leaving school without the skills needed for their future.
My reforms emphasize results that prepare students for college, skilled trades, or the workforce. Schools can focus on academics, critical thinking, and real-world skills. AI helps educators ensure students are progressing toward practical outcomes in real time.
